BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Cory Watson Attorneys is proud to welcome a new associate, Julianne Zilahy, who joins the firm’s Personal Injury section in the Birmingham office.
Julianne Zilahy graduated from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2019, where she first discovered a love for advocacy. She externed with Judge Bowdre of the Northern District of Alabama and worked as a Research Attorney for a local plaintiff’s firm until August 2020, when she joined the staff at Cory Watson Attorneys.
A native of Connecticut, Julianne earned her degree in Ballet and minor in Writing from Texas Christian University in 2013. After graduation, she danced professionally with the Alabama Ballet for two years before pursuing law full-time and earning her Juris Doctor degree from Cumberland.
Her devotion to seeking justice brought her to the Personal Injury practice group at Cory Watson, where she is currently handling cases involving motor vehicle accident litigation.
“Julianne is a great addition to our team,” said firm co-founder and principal attorney Leila Watson. “She is a talented lawyer committed to providing exceptional service to our personal injury clients.”
Julianne is excited to continue her career as an advocate by learning from the talented and passionate attorneys at Cory Watson.
