Juan T. Williams is a compassionate and results-driven personal injury attorney who brings a unique background in social work to his legal practice. Licensed in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas, Juan is dedicated to advocating for individuals and families whose lives have been disrupted by the negligence of others.
Before becoming an attorney, Juan earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Social Work. His early career with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services gave him firsthand exposure to systemic issues affecting children and families. That experience inspired him to pursue a career in law, driven by a desire to create meaningful change and protect those who are often without a voice. Helping people is both Juan’s purpose and his source of strength. His background as a counselor allows him to connect with clients on a personal level, offering empathy, understanding, and steady guidance throughout the legal process. He views his role as not only seeking justice, but also helping put the pieces back together for those whose lives have been broken by the actions of others.
Juan has practiced law in Mississippi and Tennessee since 2008 and in Arkansas since 2019. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for empathy, diligence, and a relentless commitment to justice. He is particularly proud of securing a multimillion-dollar settlement while working as co-counsel with Cory Watson Attorneys—an achievement that reflects both his legal skill and his client-focused approach.
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
— Martin Luther King, Jr.
Juan has deep roots in the Memphis area, where he has lived for more than 25 years and raised his family. His strong connection to the community shapes his approach to the law and reinforces his belief that personal injury lawyers play a vital role in helping people rebuild their lives after tragedy.
Outside the office, Juan enjoys spending time with his family and walking his three-year-old Golden Retriever, Jasper. He is a proud husband to his wife, Erica, and a devoted father to his children, Journey and Noah. A lifelong sports fan, Juan proudly supports the Tennessee Titans. He is also a devoted member of Brown Missionary Baptist Church, where he serves in the Couples Ministry and as Ministry Leader for the Political Action Ministry.
