Heather L. Jones is a dedicated attorney at Cory Watson Attorneys who is driven by a lifelong commitment to standing up for others. With seven years of experience in the legal field prior to becoming an attorney, Heather brings a strong foundation of knowledge, compassion, and client-focused advocacy to her practice.
From an early age, Heather felt a deep desire to protect those around her. That instinct ultimately led her to pursue a legal career, where she could provide a powerful voice for individuals who may not be able to advocate for themselves. Today, she considers it a privilege to guide clients through some of the most difficult and vulnerable moments of their lives, offering both legal support and reassurance.
A native of Hoover, Alabama, Heather earned her undergraduate degree in Public Administration from Samford University before going on to receive her Juris Doctor. During law school, she was actively involved in several organizations, including the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society, the Women’s Association, and the Black Law Students Association. She also earned the highest grade in Constitutional Law—an accomplishment that reflects her academic dedication and legal aptitude.
She also dedicates time to local nonprofit organizations, reinforcing her commitment to serving her community both inside and outside the courtroom.
Heather believes that a personal injury attorney’s role is to be a trustworthy and persistent advocate—someone who will fight tirelessly for their clients and ensure their voices are heard.
Outside of work, Heather loves spending quality time with her family and friends and enjoys solving challenging puzzles, a hobby that reflects her analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
