The first time Hamilton Jordan considered a legal career was after reading the novel "To Kill A Mockingbird." The heroic character of Atticus Finch inspired him to provide justice to those who have been injured by holding negligent individuals, businesses, and insurance companies accountable.
Years later, he considered going to medical school and practicing sports medicine. However, a favorite college professor convinced him to take the LSAT, apply to law school and use his talents to help people in a much different way.
"I genuinely enjoy being able to aid others. When a client is involved in a significant accident, it can throw their life upside down in an instant," said Hamilton. "Pain and suffering, medical bills, loss of income, loss of transportation, increased debt, and having to adjust an entire schedule is something we see people coping with on a daily basis."
When asked what he likes most about being a personal injury attorney, Hamilton said: "I enjoy being able to support our clients and improve their situation when they are going through one of the most difficult situations of their life."
Hamilton began his legal career at a plaintiff’s firm representing clients in numerous fields of personal injury litigation involving car accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, and premises liability. He has also practiced in general civil litigation, including products liability, employment law, and sexual harassment.
His compassion and desire to help those in need brought him to Cory Watson Attorneys, where Hamilton focuses his practice on areas such as products liability, civil litigation, motor vehicle accidents, and personal injury law.
In his free time, Hamilton enjoys watching movies, spending time outdoors, and cheering on his favorite sports teams: the Auburn Tigers, Atlanta Braves and Nashville Predators. He is also an active member of Crosspoint Church.
