Tuscaloosa, AL – Two-Car Crash on Highway 171 Results in Injuries

Tuscaloosa, AL (November 20, 2021) – Police in Tuscaloosa responded to the scene of a two-car crash with injuries on Saturday, November 20th. The crash happened on Alabama Highway 171 near mile marker 8 on the northern side of the county.

The ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division was dispatched to the crash site. When troopers arrived, they found two cars with heavy property damage stemming from the accident. At least one person sustained undisclosed injuries as a result of the collision. The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to a local hospital for treatment. There is no word on their condition at this time. Troopers have not released any information on the events leading up to the accident and it is unclear if any charges are expected to be filed.
