Montgomery, AL (October 29, 2021) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies responded to a serious crash on Thursday evening, October 28th. The accident was reported on Wares Ferry Road at the intersection with Old Atlanta Highway.
According to a report, there were two cars involved in the collision. At least one person suffered injuries as a result of the accident. Firefighters extracted the victim from a vehicle and transported them to a nearby hospital. There is no update on their condition at this time. Police could not confirm the cause of the crash or any of the details leading up to it. None of the victims involved in the collision have been identified. Motorists were asked to avoid the area while officials worked at the scene.
The ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the wreck. There is no further information available at this time.
