Huntsville, AL – Three Critically Hurt in Saturday Crash on Winchester Rd.

Huntsville, AL (October 17, 2021) – Police in Huntsville responded to a major car accident that left seven people hurt on Saturday night in Huntsville. The accident was reported around 8:45 p.m. on Winchester Road near the intersection with North Memorial Parkway.

According to a report, three injured victims were taken from the accident scene with life-threatening injuries. Three others were transported with serious injuries and were listed in stable condition. A seventh victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The Huntsville Police Department arrived at the scene just after the crash took place. At this time, police have not released any details on the cause of the accident or the events that led up to it. None of the victims involved have been identified.

An investigation resulted in the road being closed for several hours. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and to find alternate routes of travel if possible.
