Huntsville, AL (September 27, 2021) – One person has lost their life, and a second victim was left injured, following a crash in the Huntsville area on Sunday afternoon. At around 1:37 p.m., on September 26, the Madison Police Department responded to the scene of an accident on Highway 72.
Reports from local authorities show that a collision between a white pickup truck and an unknown number of additional vehicles blocked Highway 72 near Jeff Road during the afternoon hours.
One person involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
A second victim, identified as an 18-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
