Gadsden, AL (October 25, 2021) – Police in Gadsden responded to the scene of a fatal car accident over the weekend. The crash happened around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23rd.
Police were called to Highway 411 near Moragne Avenue in response to reports of the accident. According to a report, the collision involved a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze and a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette. Details on how the accident took place have not been released at this time. Officials say that two women, both from Gadsden, died at the accident scene. Rescue workers transported two other victims to a local hospital for treatment. There is no word on their conditions.
