Fatal Car Accident Bessemer

In 2019, there were 851 fatal car accidents reported in Alabama. As a result of these accidents, 930 people tragically lost their lives. Many of these victims were killed due to the actions of others on the roadways. By and large, most Alabama car accidents take place because of negligent driving. This includes speeding, impairment, distraction, and reckless driving. Motorists should remember to always use caution in order to lower their risk of being injured in a crash.

Unfortunately, not all accidents are avoidable. Serious crashes occur very suddenly and can change your life in an instant. Following a car accident, it is normal to feel stressed and concerned for your future. Despite this, you could have valuable legal rights. Under Alabama law, family members could be entitled to bring a claim on behalf of their loved ones. Alabama wrongful death laws apply in cases where motorists were killed through no fault of their own. These cases are complicated, however, and should be handled only by an experienced lawyer.
