Atmore, AL (December 23, 2021) – The ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division responded to the scene of a major car accident in Birmingham on Monday afternoon, November 22nd. The crash took place on Interstate 459 near Grants Mill Road.
Police and rescue officials arrived on site just after the collision took place. According to a report, the accident involved multiple vehicles and happened around 4:00 p.m. near the exit for Interstate 20. Paramedics also responded to the scene in order to treat the injured victims. At this time, there is no update on the conditions of the victims. Few details are available on the cause of the crash.
