Tuskegee, AL (September 19, 2021) – A 43-year-old man has lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Tuskegee on Saturday evening. On September 18, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of an accident on Highway 80.
Reports from the Tuskegee Police Department show that officers were requested at the scene of an auto accident in the area of Highway 80 and Chappie James Drive. As officers responded to the crash site, a subsequent collision occurred.
The impact of the crash caused a vehicle to flip over and come to rest off the side of the road. The driver of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
