Tuscaloosa, AL (October 3, 2021) – A 67-year-old man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident in the Tuscaloosa area on Saturday. On October 2, emergency crews responded to the scene of a crash on Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
Reports from authorities show that a 67-year-old man from Lincoln was escorting a procession with several other motorcyclists on Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
As the rider turned off near 19th Street, his vehicle collided with a second motorcyclist in the left lane.
The man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. A 54-year-old female passenger on the motorcyclist and a 28-year-old man were both transported to DCH hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
