BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Cory Watson Attorneys is proud to announce Stephen Hunt, Jr. as a Principal of the firm.
Mr. Hunt is a member of the leadership team of the firm’s Mass Tort litigation practice group. His practice is focused on Products Liability, Pharmaceutical Drug Litigation and Medical Device Litigation.

Mr. Hunt joined Cory Watson Attorneys in 2006 and has been a part of some of the firm’s most successful defective drug and medical device litigations. He has served in leadership positions in a number of multidistrict litigations.

Most recently, he has been appointed to serve on the Joint Discovery Committee in the Abilify lawsuits from across the U.S. in federal court in Pensacola, Florida, (In Re: Abilify (Aripiprazole) Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2734). He is also actively serving as a member of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the Zofran consolidated federal litigation (In Re: Zofran (Ondansetron) Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2657).
Mr. Hunt has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Mid-South Rising Star and has been named to National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40. A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Mr. Hunt received his law degree at Cumberland School of Law. He serves on the Board of Directors of the TumTum Tree Foundation and serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster in a local Boy Scout troop. He and his wife Rebekah have three children, attend Church of the Highlands and live in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
