Prattville, AL (October 5, 2021) – One person was hurt in a crash that involved a school bus in Prattville on Monday afternoon. The collision happened just after 3:30 pm. in the 1500 block of Highway 14.
The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office was among the agencies that responded to the accident scene. According to a report from Chief Deputy David Hill, the school bus and a car were involved in the crash. One person was taken from the crash site to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been revealed at this time.
Police say that there were 25 students on the bus when the accident occurred. However, the injured victim was not on board the bus. There is no word on the events that led up to the accident and the injured victim has not been identified. Police are still conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
