Northport, AL (November 2, 2021) – The Northport Police Department responded to the scene of a deadly car accident on Tuesday, November 2nd. The crash took place around 3:30 p.m. on Rose Boulevard near Eugenia Faucett Drive.
According to Assistant Police Chief Keith Carpenter, one person died as a result of a single-car crash. Two other people were transported from the accident scene to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. There is no word on their conditions at this time. Police have not released the identity of the victims and there is no information on the cause of the collision. Motorists were asked to avoid the area while the crash was investigated. The southbound lanes were blocked for several hours as officials worked at the scene.
