Montgomery, AL (October 8, 2021) – Investigators were called to the scene of a major accident in Montgomery on Friday, October 8th. The collision took place near Chantilly Parkway at the entrance ramp to the northbound lanes of Interstate 85.
The Alabama Department of Transportation first reported the accident. Several emergency vehicles were at the scene. Traffic was backed up in both directions while crews worked to clear the area and police investigated the crash. Motorists experienced severe delays near the accident site. Rescue workers tended to at least one injured victim although there is no word on the victim’s condition.
