Pedestrian accidents often occur due to the fault of drivers and other motorists. Many drivers fail to fully pay attention to their surroundings. Distraction is a major cause of pedestrian accidents in our state. Weather and poor visibility also can play a role. A large number of pedestrian crashes occur at night or in the early morning hours when driver visibility is at its lowest point. Each accident must be carefully and thoroughly investigated in order to determine the cause.
