Meridianville Motorcycle Accidents
A motorcycle accident in Alabama is often a very serious and catastrophic event for the victim as well as their family. Each year, more than 900 people are killed in traffic crashes in Alabama. Although there are far fewer motorcycles than traditional passenger vehicles, motorcycle crashes tend to be far more dangerous and deadly. The reason for this is that motorcycles do not offer the same protection as motor vehicles. Riders are also likely to be thrown from their bike during a crash, further increasing the risk of serious injury.
More than 75% of all reported motorcycle crashes involve another vehicle. Motorcycle riders should use care and caution at all times in order to lower their risk of being involved in an accident. However, many motorcycle collisions occur due to the negligence of another driver. In these instances, the motorcyclist may be unable to avoid the accident from occurring and will suffer the consequences.
