Lynn, AL (September 15, 2021) – A teen has lost their life as a result of a two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon in Winston County. At around 1:28 p.m., on September 13, calls for assistance came in regarding a crash on Alabama 13.
Reports from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) show that a 19-year-old was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze on Alabama 13. For unknown reasons, the man’s vehicle collided with a 2012 Freightliner near mile marker 255.
The driver of the Chevrolet sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 31-year-old male from Blakely, Georgia, was not injured.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
