Alabama Truck Accidents
Crashes involving large trucks and commercial motor vehicles are especially dangerous in nature. According to the National Safety Council, a total of 5,005 people lost their lives in commercial truck accidents across the United States in 2019. Greater than 70% of these victims were occupants of other vehicles. A truck accident often inflicts the most damage on the smaller vehicle that is involved in the crash. Tractor-trailers are large, powerful vehicles and accidents in which they are involved frequently result in serious injuries or death.
Truck accidents also take place across Alabama. With a large stretch of the state covered by highways and interstates, truck accidents are unfortunately quite common. An Alabama truck accident can certainly turn your life upside down and can result in the sudden loss of a loved one. It can also mean serious injuries with a long road to recovery. After a truck accident, it is important not to delay in protecting your legal rights.
