Gadsden, AL (December 27, 2021) – Officials in Gadsden responded to the scene of a deadly crash involving a motorcycle on Christmas Eve. The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. on Interstate 759 near George Wallace Drive.
The ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division responded to the accident scene. According to troopers, the 20-year-old motorcyclist was riding near the intersection when his motorcycle was hit by a truck. The rider died at the accident scene. The truck driver was not injured in the collision. There is no word on how the accident took place. The Gadsden Police Department is investigating at this time. It is not clear whether any charges are expected to be filed.
