Cory Watson Cares: Law Firm Donates Bike Helmets for Read and Romp Children’s Event

Cory Watson AttorneysBy Cory Watson Attorneys | September 13th, 2016

Children Partaking in Read and Romp ActivitiesCory Watson Attorneys is proud to support Read and Romp-Birmingham 2016 through our Cory Watson Cares community outreach initiative. This year, Read and Romp is coordinated by Alabama Public Television, Reach Out and Read-Alabama and United Way of Central Alabama Success By 6.

This exciting, FREE family literacy event targets preschoolers ages 3-5, but kids of all ages are welcome. At Read and Romp-Birmingham, children will be engaged in fun, reading-based activities themed around popular children’s books. Favorite characters will be on hand to entertain and children will leave the event with a backpack full of goodies that they have either created or earned by visiting activity stations around the park.

The first 300 children completing the activities at each station will receive a backpack of free brand-new books. Cory Watson Attorneys will be on the scene with our popular Helmets for Kids program. All children at the event will be fitted with a free, brand new bicycle helmet. Cory Watson will also provide children with coloring books that include bicycle safety tips and games.
