Injury Accidents in Alabama
Being involved in a car accident in Alabama is a scary and stressful experience. Last year, there were more than 140,000 car accidents reported in our state. More than 40,000 victims sustained injuries as a result of these crashes. A car accident can affect every area of your life, including your ability to work and earn an income to support yourself and your family. Physically, the pain from the crash can certainly limit your ability to live your life and engage in the activities that you enjoy.
While a crash can cause major issues, the law also allows victims to seek compensation when they have been hurt in a crash that was not their fault. Alabama car accident law is complicated and is often harsh towards victims. If you are found to be even 1% at fault for the collision, your recovery can be completely denied. Insurers will often use this rule to refuse to pay victims who are hurt by negligent drivers. It is important to have a skilled lawyer by your side who can help you get through this difficult time.
