Auburn, AL (November 14, 2021) – A 31-year-old Tuskegee man was killed in a crash on Sunday, November 14th. The crash was reported around 3:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 29 near mile marker 174.2 in Macon County.
According to the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division, the man was walking near the roadway when he was hit by an unknown vehicle. Rescue workers arrived and pronounced the man dead at the crash scene. There is no word on whether the driver remained in the area following the accident. No additional injuries were reported as a result of the collision. Motorists were advised to avoid the area while police worked at the scene.
There is no word on whether any charges will be filed. An investigation is ongoing at this time.
