Fatal Accidents in Alabama
According to the Alabama Department of Transportation, there were 930 people killed in Alabama car accidents in 2019. This number has been increasing in recent years as our roadways become more dangerous and deadly. Most serious and fatal accidents could be avoided if all drivers used appropriate care and caution on the roadways. More than 90% of all car accidents in the United States are caused by some type of negligent driving behavior. Each accident must be carefully investigated in order to determine the cause.
Following a fatal accident, families are left feeling devastated and confused. During this time, you may wonder how you are going to move forward and pick up the pieces. Under Alabama law, family members could have valuable and important legal rights. This includes the right to receive compensation for the loss of your loved one. While no amount of money can replace the untimely loss of a family member, the compensation that you receive can help you with many of the unexpected expenses that you are now facing.
