Aliceville, AL (January 5, 2022) – One person was killed in a two-car crash that took place in Aliceville on Tuesday, January 4th. The crash happened around 9:00 a.m. on County Road 60.
The ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division responded to the crash scene. According to a report, a 44-year-old man was driving a vehicle on CR 60 when he collided with a tractor-trailer that was parked partially in the road. Rescue crews rushed to the scene and provided lifesaving measures. The man was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. There were no other injuries reported. The cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time. There is no word on whether any charges are expected.
Motorists were asked to avoid the scene while police and rescue crews worked to clear the area. No further details are available at this time.
