Albertville, AL (September 15, 2021) – A young child has lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Albertville on Saturday evening. At around 9 p.m., on September 11, calls came in for assistance on-site at a crash on Nixon Chapel Road.
Reports from local authorities show that a 2-year-old child was struck by a pickup truck at a home on Nixon Chapel Road. The child sustained severe injuries in the accident.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene to render aid to the victim. However, the young boy passed away from his injuries while at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
