BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Cory Watson Attorneys Founding Principal Leila H. Watson has been elected 2016 President-Elect of the Birmingham Bar Association. Ms. Watson has practiced law for 31 years and has served the Bar Association and Birmingham Bar Foundation in various capacities.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the Bar and its mission of promoting justice and public service,” said Ms. Watson.
Ms. Watson has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers- Top 50 Alabama Attorneys and Top 25 Women Attorneys in Alabama, was named to Top Women of Birmingham by the Birmingham Business Journal, and recognized as one of B-Metro’s Women to Watch. She was recognized as a Champion of Justice by the Alabama Association for Justice. She is an appointed member of the Alabama Pattern Jury Instructions Committee.
