Attorneys Andrew S. Herring and Hannah Cory presented the new bicycle helmets to United Way.
This week, the United Way of Central Alabama asked our greater Birmingham community to step-up for their annual fundraising campaign. This year’s campaign message, BE AN EVERYDAY HERO, is a call to action to consider who the heroes have been in our own lives and how they have impacted our lives.
In response, Cory Watson is proud to fundraise and donate to help replace the stolen bicycle helmets used in the agency’s Bike Rodeos, a popular bike safety program for central Alabama school kids.
Cory Watson has been involved with United Way for many years, out of the firm’s desire to help others and build a stronger community.
Ernest Cory, Firm Co-Founder and Managing Shareholder, summed up why United Way’s mission fits well with their core values:
“Cory Watson’s partnership with the United Way is important because of who we are and what we do as a law firm. We will always support and give back to our community, just as we support our clients.”
The principal attorneys at Cory Watson led the fundraising efforts.
“These bicycle helmets may help prevent injuries for hundreds of kids in our community,” said Cory. “We have appreciated the opportunity to see the generosity of our attorneys firsthand, and to learn more about the many ways that we can help support United Way.”
